When will I be finished talking about how my life has changed since moving to the city?

Who could know.

Now that I walk or ride the train everywhere I go, I have some serious gaps of time in my schedule that can no longer be filled by just music... because after just 2 months of living with earbuds in, I hate almost every song I've ever heard (hence my previous post).

I'm here to endorse some podcasts and books that I enjoy during commutes these days.

A nod to Slate's Culture Gabfest tradition.

Serial is the child of This American Life and they have similar style stories regularly. It allows listeners to really wear the shoes of the people telling the stories. (You'll see academic integration in a way you never have before... and also, theme park workers. It's a mixed bag.)

For an easy read that has traces of Gone Girl and maybe even a little Goldfinch style. Couldn't put it down.
